With over 15 years of industry experience, DELIXIR was founded in mid-2020 by lead mixologist Adam Sammut. With a passion for creating and an eye for detail, Adam utilized the paradigm shift of COVID-19 as creative leverage to begin building a unique and approachable cocktail bar experience that could be delivered to private event spaces.

With a love for mixology, Adam began by cataloguing his signature creations on Instagram, laying the foundation that would later allow his business model to shift into offering and delivering at-home “Be Your Own Bartender” cocktail kits — hence the name DELIXIR (Delivered Elixirs). With most of the hospitality industry shut down through the tumultuous early days of COVID-19, DELIXIR was an incentive to bring back some of life’s normalcies during an unprecedented time.

Once COVID-19 restrictions began to lift, DELIXIR shifted directly into the events arena, initially catering to residential intimate 10 person gatherings that brought loved ones back together again after what seemed like an eternity of lockdowns and social separation. DELIXIR continued to grow steadily through word of mouth and social media presence, eventually blossoming into a multi-faceted bar and events service. Adam’s vision continuously pivoted into different areas of the events realm as he began offering cocktail classes, menu consultation and even balloon decor, in addition to regularly catering to 50 person birthday parties, 100 plus person weddings and gradually up to larger 500 person corporate events.

DELIXIR continues to provide an entertaining, non-pretentious, elegant, delicious, fun and inviting cocktail experience for clients and their guests. The cocktails are crafted with pride, setting the tone, creating a vibe, sparking conversation and igniting an experience; all-in-one.
